1. Lavender Oil
Lavender oil is a natural substance that is extremely practical in many ways: it helps you to fall asleep faster, can cure a headache, or can simply be put on after an intense day of traveling thanks to its instant soothing and calming effect.
2. USB Flash Drive
Everyone loves to photographically capture every moment when traveling - next time, make sure to pack a USB flash drive and copy your photos as often as possible. This will free up some space on your memory card and will work as an insurance in case you lose or break your camera. Because there's nothing worse than losing all those precious snapshots you were so proud of.
3. Quick-Drying Towels
The quick-drying towel: an invention that is perhaps not that aesthetically pleasing, but all the more handy! Buying one of those really does pay off as they take up very little space in your luggage, usually dry a lot faster and don't absorb that much water (and don't have sand sticking with them) compared to a normal towel.
4. Copies Of Your Documents
Let's face it, we all know at least one person who didn't bring a copy of their ID while traveling, and ended up dealing with endless hassles because of it. In order to avoid this kind of situation, don't forget to pack at least one copy of your most valuable documents such as your passport, driver's license or credit card.
5. Travel Diary
With the overwhelming amount of experiences you will be making, some great memories are easily forgotten. In order to keep up with the amazing things you did, or the lovely people you met, make sure to pack a diary and jot them down every night.
