Video & recipe by Madeline Hall
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1 tsp. hot water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Farenheit. Grease a large non-stick baking sheet or line with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a medium sized bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Cream together until smooth.
Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips. Scoop onto prepared baking sheet, and bake in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes. Enjoy!
