by Sandrine Vaillancourt

Delete the negative comments

The best thing to do when you receive a negative comment is to delete it immediately. If you leave it there, it will continue to grow on you. However, if you feel like you could reply something constructive without offending anyone, go for it! You just don’t want to start a conversation that would lead to more negativity on your profile. If you feel like the person could start again, just block his or her profile. It might not be the most effective solution, but they will eventually get over it.

Move on quickly, and stop worrying

Don’t make it personal

Again, these negative comments don’t define you; accept that you can’t please everyone. And if it is a direct attack, just forget it. You will eventually learn from these comments, whether they were on your Instagram profile, your blog, or elsewhere.
