Reading is a calming and inspiring activity that so many people forget to do. Here is how to make more time for reading this Summer.Image via The Christelle Factor
Have a reading corner
If you don’t have an ideal place to read, chances are, you will never have the motivation to read. Create one by using a comfortable chair in an isolated room of your home. Don’t forget to add a light so you can read at night. You can also add a pillow and a blanket to make the area cozier.
Make a reading list
What type of books do you like? Have you heard about an author that seems inspiring? Create a reading list that you can update indefinitely, so that whenever you have time to read, you’ll know what to reach out for.
Make actual time for reading
Reading before going to bed can actually help you to fall asleep faster. If you feel like reading in the evening is too difficult for you, try to plan a moment in your day for this activity. It can also be as low as 15 minutes everyday. Scheduling a specific time for books will allow you to read more easily.
Join a book club
Joining a book club is an amazing way to discover books and talk about them. There are a few on the Internet but you can also join one in your local area. Who knows, maybe you’ll meet some awesome people that share the same interests as you do.
